Vacancy for Ayur Posts in NIMHANS, Bengaluru

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the following post on contract basis for Cipla Foundation funded  project entitled “Development of a Neuro- palliative and Supportive care model for patients with chronic neurological conditions in NIMHANS” under Dr. Nalini A. , Professor of Neurology and Principal Investigator.

Name of the Post :-

•  Project Coordinator  

Number of the Post :-

•  01 (One)

Qualification :-

• MSW (Medical and Psychiatric Social Work)/ MA/MSc in Psychology/ Masters in Public Health or equivalent and five years of experience in health project management.  

                                         Or 

• PhD in  Social Work/Psychology/Public health or equivalent and one year of experience in handling healthcare related project management. 

                                      Or 

• MBBS/ BAMS/BUMS/BHMS and two years of experience in health project management. 
  

Desirable :-

• Experience of project management and implementation, Monitoring and evaluation. Exposure to palliative care services.  Knowledge of Epi Info/SPSS/STATA/R software. 

Maximum Age limit :-

• 50 years. 

Salary :-

• Rs.65,000/- per month consolidated. 

Duration of the project :-

• Three years  Initial appointment will be made for six months, extendable based on the performance of the candidate.  

Key responsibility :-

• Assisting the Investigator team in project implementation and conducting key activities related to :-   

1. co-ordination the overall activities of the project. She/he will be responsible for monitoring and supervision.  
2. development and maintenance of the database, documentation :  enrolment, obtaining informed consent for participation in the study, entry of all clinical data, ensuring follow up. 
3. Coordination and communication with scientific advisory team members, other stakeholders  and NGOs.

•  Medical Officer  

Number of the post :-

• 01 (One)

Qualification :-

• MBBS/ BAMS/BUMS/BHMS and two years of experience working in clinical setting. 
• Exposure to/ training in Palliative Medicine.

Desirable :- 

• Additional training in Palliative medicine is desirable.

Maximum Age limit :-

• 40 years. 

Salary :-

• Rs.80,000/- per month consolidated. 

Duration of the project :-

• Three years  Initial appointment will be made for six months, extendable based on the performance of the candidate. 

Key responsibility :- 

• Assisting the Investigator team in project implementation and conducting key activities related to :-

1. conducting palliative care assessment and delivering palliative care services to the identified participants.  
2. Setting up assessment protocols and contribute to  standardising disease specific guidelines for NPC.
