Vacancy for the Post of Senior Research Fellow, at AIIMS Bhopal (M.P.)

Eligible candidates are invited to attend Written test/ interview on dates mentioned below for the post of Senior Research Fellow/SRF (Ayurveda) and Lab Technician on purely contractual basis in the extramural research project titled “Prospective, Randomized, Open-Label, Blinded End Point exploratory clinical study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Ayurvedic regimen as an adjunct to Hydroxyurea in the management of Sickle cell disease" funded by Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), New Delhi, Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India sanctioned vide CCRAS office order HQPROJ011/91/2022-PROJ/774 dated 04 November 2022) to Dr. Sachin Bansal, Principal Investigator (AIIMS Bhopal) and Assistant Professor in the department of Medical Oncology & Hematology at AIIMS Bhopal.

• “Prospective, Randomized, Open-Label, Blinded End Point exploratory clinical study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Ayurvedic regimen as an adjunct to Hydroxyurea in the management of Sickle cell disease"

• 01 (One) - UR

Essential Qualification :-

• Graduate Degree in Ayurveda (B.A.M.S.) from any recognized University.
• Preference will be given to those who possess higher qualification or who have previous research experience i.e having worked for any funded research project.    

Desirable Qualification and Experience :- 

• Post-graduate degree in Ayurveda (Clinical Subjects), degree/ diploma/certificate course in research methodology/ ethnography/ data analysis/ database management/ healthcare management.
• Previous experience of working on Clinical trial or tribal health care related projects or any project funded by the Ministry of AYUSH, ICMR, DST or equal organization, paper published in indexed biomedicaljournal as a first/corresponding author. Working experience of MS word, MS Excel etc.

Age Limit :- 

• 35 years or Less

Emoluments :-

• Rs 41,300/- Consolidated 

Nature of Duties :-

• To provide assistance in conducting the project in form of literature review, manuscript writing, procurement of consumables, inventory management, data collection, data analysis, patient recruitment, counseling and monitoring, supervision and monitoring of lab sampling and reports, report writing & dissemination, financial record-keeping and any other tasks assigned by PI & Co-Is.   

Duration :- 

• 02 year (subject to continuation of funding by CCRAS, New Delhi and performance of the employee). The appointment will be on temporary basis for a period of one year. Based on the performance in first year, the appointment could be extended till the end of the project.

Selection  :-

• Selection of the candidate will be done through interview by competent selection committee. (written exam for screening purpose may be held if number of candidate will be more)

Age Concession :- 

• Age relaxation is admissible in respect of SC/ST/OBC candidates, Retrenched Government Employees, Departmental Candidates (including projects), and ex-servicemen in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government from time to time. Age concession to the extent of services rendered in the research projects will also be admissible for experienced and skilled persons.
