Vacancy for the Post of Research Assistant at AIIMS, Bhubaneswar

Eligible short-listed candidate will be invited to attend INTERVIEW on the following date for the post of “Research Assistant” sanctioned under DHR, Govt. of India, project entitled ‘Implementation of an Evaluation and Treatment Package for Uniform Stroke Care and outcomes in the Medical Colleges in India. An Implementation Research Study (IMPETUStroke)’ under Dr Sanjeev Kumar Bhoi, Additional Professor, Department of Neurology, AIIMS Bhubaneswar on 11th January 2022. The essential qualifications, experience, consolidated salary and service tenure are as under :-

• Research Assistant (purely temporary)

• 01 (One)

Period of Appointment :-

• Maximum for a period of 2 years or till completion of project whichever is earlier. 

Upper age limit :-

• 30 years on the date of interview  Education Medical graduate (MBBS/BDS/BHMS/BAMS/Bachelor of Physiotherapy), MSc Nursing with degree/diploma in clinical research & computer knowledge. 

Desirable Experience :- 

• 1 year’ experience in managing critical care patients/Emergency/ stroke unit. 
• 1 year’ clinical research experience post-qualification.
• Experience in writing reports and scientific documents.
• Computer knowledge in MS office.

Location :-  

• AIIMS Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

Proposed Salary :-  

• Monthly Consolidated salary of Rs 31,000/- (Rupees Thirty-one thousand only) 

Core Responsibilities :-

1. Maintain all the databases of the Project: online and offline.
2. Coordinate and attend project review meetings/ workshops.
3. Coordination of activities of IMPETUS.
4. Other relevant work assigned by the PI.

Terms and conditions :-              

The above post is on temporary contract basis.

1. These are tenure vacancies under funded project and are not employment on AIIMS Bhubaneswar pay roll. Employment will be automatically terminated upon completion of the project and there is no liability for permanent employment on AIIMS, Bhubaneswar or Principal Investigator. Also, the candidates have no right to claim permanent employment based on this job.  
2. No TA/DA will be paid for attending this Walk-in-Interview. 
3. He/she has to be give minimum one-month prior notice for resignation from the post or He/she has to deposit one-month salary in lieu of prior notice. 
4. All other terms and conditions will be regulated by the guidelines as issued by DHR-ICMR New Delhi & AIIMS Bhubaneswar.  
5. The Director & appointing authority has the right to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason(s) and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained.
